Stress
Every one of us is dealing with stress every day, however accumulative stress is causing most of the visits to the doctor and an increase levels of stress in our bodies can cause serious problems to our mental and physical health.
Cortisol is a stress hormone released by the adrenal glands. It’s important for helping your body deal with stressful situations, as your brain triggers its release in response to many different kinds of stress. However, when cortisol levels are too high for too long, this hormone can hurt you more than it helps.
A few emotional signs that you should be alert. Don’t forget to check on your family as well:
- Trouble sleeping or sleeping too much.
- Problems with your memory or concentration.
- Fear thoughts or constant worry.
- Making bad choices or decisions.
- Unfocused.
- Feeling overwhelmed.
- Feeling unmotivated.
- Constant Anger.
- Constant Irritability.
- Restlessness
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Unmotivated
I would like to suggest a few things that I used to reduce the levels of stress from my life:
- Eat balance meals. Lots of fresh and green ingredients.
- Focus on the things you can control.
- Accept that are events that we can not control.
- Practice stress management techniques like: mindfulness, yoga, taichi, calm moments.
- Exercise regularly.
- Dance.
- Listen to happy music.
- Call Mom or call a positive and happy colleague or happy friend.
- Repeat positive affirmations
- Listen to mantras.
Remember: Amount of manageable stress can lead to increased brain functioning, a boosted immune system and better preparation for future stressful situations, which can positively affect emotional health with your work and home life. But too much is dangerous. Keep yourself in balance.
Stay Focus, Stay Positive
I use aroma therapy as well as one remedy to keep my stress manageable. I recommend you try it as well and here is why:
The rose is widely considered the most beautiful flower in the world; however their benefits are many in the reduction of Stress, Anxiety, Sleep problems, Menstrual Pain and Menopausal symptoms.
Rose oil helps to boosts self-esteem, confidence, and mental strength while efficiently fighting anxiety.
Rose essential oil purifies the blood by helping in the removal and neutralization of toxins. Once your blood is purified and free of toxins, you are protected from boils, rashes, ulcers, and skin diseases, as well as serious conditions that free radicals can cause, like cancer and heart diseases.
«In a study by PubMed Central a highly respected database from the national institute of Health the patients in the group «postoperative children» inhaled rose oil reported a significant reduction on pain levels. Rose oil may have stimulated the brain to release endorphins, often called the “feel-good” hormone».
Rose essential oil: Relieves Stress, Fights Anxiety, and Relaxes Your Body and Mind. During rose aromatherapy, the essential oils move deep into your skin and the air in your lungs, regenerating skin while comforting the mind. It slowly relaxes your muscles, relieves spasms, and reduces inflammation.
There’s is also one oil that I use frequently: Stress Away essential oil.
Stress Away oil contains a unique combination of Lime essential oil and Vanilla extract. It’s this distinct mix of Vanilla and Lime that gives Stress Away its unique and pleasant aroma, among other benefits. Stress Away also includes Copaiba, which has a history of beneficial properties in topical application; Lavender, with its refreshing and calming scent; and Cedarwood, which features the powerful plant constituent cedrol. These ingredients are expertly blended with the exotic scent of Ocotea, a unique Ecuadorian-sourced essential oil.
